Identification of Israeli EAPC, active in Oil and Gas Supply Chain of the Israel
The Europe Asia Pipeline Company (EAPC) is a holding company in Israel active in the oil and gas sectorThe Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company, also known as EAPC [1], operates several pipelines for crude oil and refined petroleum products in Israel, particularly the Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline. EAPC also possesses two marine oil terminals and oil storage facilities in the occupied territories [2].

The company was initially established in 1968 as a joint venture between the Israel and Iran (during the Pahlavi regime), with a 50% share for each party to transfer crude oil from Iran to Europe. However, after the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the severing of relations, the Israel nationalized the company. In 2015, a Swiss court ordered the Israel to pay $1.1 billion in damages to Iran; however, Israel refrained from doing so, arguing that it was prohibited by laws regarding trade with enemies. The Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company is one of the most secretive companies in the Israel. According to a Financial Times report, EAPC has operated under a public government order that keeps its affairs confidential since its establishment. The government of the Israel cites national security reasons for issuing this order [3].
